1 ripe cantaloupe

2 stars anise
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brandy
1 cup white wine

Cut the cantaloupe in half and discard the seeds
Using a blender, make as many balls of cantaloupe as possible and transfer to a bowl

Slice the sweet cilantro into very thin strips and combine with the cantaloupe
Add
the stars anise, sugar, brandy, white wine and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours
Serve well chilled.
