1 box of tangerine or raspberry gelatin
1 cup boiling water
3/4 cup cold water
1 medium melon, Amazon-style or sweet melon
1 cup fruit salad, drained
Whipped cream

Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water and mix with cold water
Chill in the refrigerator until well set
Remove the rind from the melon, leaving it whole
Cut a slice at one end and remove the seeds
Reserve the cut slice
Place the melon in a bowl
Add the fruit to the gelatin mixture and fill the melon with this mixture
Top with the reserved slice and secure with skewers
Chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 days
Before serving, cut a thin slice at the base of the melon to stabilize it on a plate
Cover with whipped cream
