Bake the oven at low temperature
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it with a little bit of oil

In a bowl, beat the egg whites and salt until soft peaks form
Slowly add the cream of tartar and confectioner's sugar, beating well after each addition
Add the vanilla extract and beat until stiff peaks form
Mix in the nuts

Place the meringue on the prepared baking sheet, forming a circle 15 cm in diameter
Bake until lightly golden
Turn off the oven and let the meringue cool completely with the door slightly ajar

Transfer the disk to a serving plate and top with whipped cream
Decorate with strawberries and holly sprigs and serve immediately
