Baked Cod with Cream and Mustard (Cod Cake)

Ingredients: 1 package of frozen cod fillets; 2 tablespoons of mustard; 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine; 1 cup of breadcrumbs; 1/2 cup of heavy cream

Ingredients

Directions

Mix the mustard with 1 tablespoon of softened butter or margarine and spread over the block of frozen cod fillets

Place in a baking dish and bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes

While that's cooking, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine, add the breadcrumbs and fry until lightly toasted

Spread the heavy cream over the fish and cover with the breadcrumbs

Bake for an additional 5 minutes until the fish is cooked through
