Melt the butter with the green pepper and onion for 5 minutes
Add the flour mixed with seasonings
Mix until the butter is uniform
Add the milk
Cook until thickened
Brown the crackers in 1 tablespoon of melted butter
Combine with corn, egg, and crushed crackers
Pour into a 1-liter baking dish; cover with crumbs; bake at a hot oven for 20 minutes
