1 cup of wheat flour

100 g of unsalted butter at room temperature

2 eggs at room temperature
1/2 cup of milk
1 apple, peeled and cut into cubes for the filling
3/4 cup of confectioner's sugar
2 tablespoons of milk

Prepare a muffin tin with paper liners and set aside
In a bowl, combine the flour, oatmeal, yeast, and salt. Reserve
In a stand mixer, beat the butter with sugar until light and fluffy
Add an egg at a time, beating for a few minutes after each addition
Reduce speed and add the dry ingredients alternately with milk until just combined
Fold in the apple, mixing lightly
Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups to about 2/3 full
Bake in a moderate oven (350°F), preheated, for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the muffins comes out clean
Remove from the oven and let cool for five minutes
Prepare the glaze: Beat the sugar with milk until thick
Pour over the muffins and decorate with sprinkles.
