Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C)

In one bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and ground ginger

In another bowl, mix together the mashed banana, granulated sugar, melted butter, milk, and large egg

Combine the two mixtures

Add in the chopped walnuts and mix well

Divide the batter evenly among the muffin liners, filling them to about 3/4 capacity
