Chop the vegetables into fine slices and sauté them in olive oil and butter, along with the meat, keeping the pan uncovered
Season with salt and pepper
Add the wine, tomato paste, milk, and mix well
Cover the pan and let it cook for 20 minutes
All the steam will be released, open the pan, and let the sauce simmer for another 20 minutes
If desired, you can add heavy cream (2 tablespoons).
