Beat the eggs in a saucepan until they are light and pale
Add the sugar and beat constantly over low heat
Add the white wine, orange juice, orange zest, and liqueur
Continue beating until the mixture thickens
Pour into cups and serve warm or cold
Or serve as a sauce over cakes, tortes, or ice cream
