Melt the butter over low heat
Add the flour and mix well
Cook over low heat, stirring until the mixture is smooth and bubbly
Remove from heat
Gradually add the broth, continuing to stir
Bring to a boil again and let it simmer, stirring constantly
Let it simmer for 1 minute
Finally, add the well-beaten egg yolks, mix well and cook for another minute, stirring constantly
Use the thyme sauce with potatoes, peas or green beans.
