Sauté the onion in olive oil for about 5 minutes or until golden brown
Add the tomato extract and sauté for 3 minutes, stirring constantly
Combine the oregano, salt, pepper, and water to taste
Cover and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes
This sauce is sufficient for 1/2 kg and can be used with any type of pasta
Serve hot.
