2 cloves of finely chopped onion

juice from 1 large lime
salt and black pepper to taste
2 cups red wine

Fry the onion in 1/4 cup of unsalted butter or margarine until it becomes transparent
Add the garlic, oregano, lime juice, salt, and black pepper to taste
Cook over low heat for 4 minutes
Add the red wine
Raise the heat and let it simmer
Lower the heat again and cook for an additional 5 minutes
When serving, combine with 1/2 cup of unsalted butter or margarine and chopped parsley
