Combine all sauce ingredients in a pan and bring to low heat
Stir until it starts to simmer
Let it cool and blend in a blender
In another pan, arrange the strawberries and warm sauce
When it starts to boil, add the rum and flambé
Serve still warm with vanilla ice cream.
