Combine the gelatin and water in a bowl and let it hydrate for five minutes
Heat to dissolve in a double boiler, stirring constantly
Remove from heat and add the coffee and sugar
Mix well and refrigerate for 15 minutes or until it reaches the consistency of a raw egg white
Remove from refrigerator and mix with the whipped cream and liqueur
Pour into individual serving cups and refrigerate for at least four hours or until firm.
