Place the first three ingredients in a saucepan and heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and forming a cream
Remove from heat, add powdered gelatin and mix well
Refrigerate and when slightly firm, fold in the egg whites
Gently grease a mold, pour in the mousse and refrigerate for at least 2 hours
Unmold and serve.
