Place the water and lemon juice in a non-stick skillet and let it simmer
Crack the egg into a bowl, then gently pour it into the skillet
Season with salt and let it cook undisturbed for 3 minutes
Remove the egg with a slotted spoon to allow excess water to drain
Toast the bread in a toaster or under the broiler until lightly browned
Spread the margarine on the toast, then top with the egg
Serve immediately.
