Dump the water into a bowl
Add butter and mix with a wooden spoon until it melts
Let it cool down a bit
Add yeast and let it rest for 1 minute
Mash the yeast and let it rest for another 4 minutes
Add flour, salt, and sugar and mix well until the dough comes off the sides of the bowl (the dough will be sticky)
Dust a medium-sized bowl with oil
Knead the dough into a ball with your hands
Place the dough in the oiled bowl
Turn the ball to make the top equally oily
Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and let it rise in a protected place for 45 minutes or until the dough has doubled in volume
Lift the dough in the middle, with your hand closed
Poke the edges of the dough towards the center
Place the dough on a floured surface
Dust your hands with flour and knead for 1 minute, adding more flour if the dough is sticky
Divide the dough into two
Roll out each half with a rolling pin, on a floured surface
Open it up by turning the dough, pulling the edges towards you until it fits into a pizza pan of 30 cm in diameter
Dust the pan with oil and place the dough
Cover with half of the sauce
Use your desired topping
See our suggestions below
