Sift the cornmeal into a bowl and reserve
Heat the milk with sugar, butter, and salt, then pour it over the cornmeal
Mix well and let it cool
Add the eggs and mix until smooth
Combine with the cheese and mix thoroughly
Knead the dough with floured hands until it has a uniform consistency
Let it rest covered with a clean cloth for 20 minutes
Shape into balls with floured hands and bake in a medium preheated oven until they grow in size and start to brown, then serve
Serve stuffed with guava jam.
