500g short pasta
Shredded cheese to taste

Fry the garlic in butter until it starts to brown
Add the heavy cream and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a simmer
Remove from heat and let sit for 30 minutes
Strain through a sieve
Season with salt and black pepper
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente
DRAIN and mix with the warm sauce
Serve on a platter, topped with shredded cheese
