Roll out the pastry to firm up the confectioner's sugar in the dough
Cut the rectangle in half, making the same mark on each for them to meet
Sprinkle with a little more confectioner's sugar
Gently roll out the macaroni to set the confectioner's sugar
Fold the same sides together to the middle
Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar, firm it up with the rolling pin and fold in half (like a book) on the same side as the dough was folded
Wrap in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes

Place in a baking dish and put in a hot oven (220°C)
Bake until golden brown under, about 15 minutes
Turn over and bake to golden brown on the other side for an additional 10 minutes
