Massa:
300 ml of water
1 kg of wheat flour
4 egg yolks
1 cup (ch) of sugar
3 spoons of active dry yeast
150 g of margarine
1 pinch of salt
2 spoons of orange soda powder
1 spoon of orange extract
200 g of candied orange peel
Cream of Orange
300 ml of freshly squeezed orange juice
1 spoon of orange extract
2 spoons of cornstarch
1 cup (ch) of sugar
Massa:
300 ml of water

150 g of margarine

200 g of candied orange peel
Cream of Orange
300 ml of freshly squeezed orange juice
1 spoon of orange extract
2 spoons of cornstarch
1 cup (ch) of sugar
Mix the ingredients in a blender until well combined: water, yeast, sugar, and egg yolks
Pulse the mixture into a stand mixer and gradually add the wheat flour while beating
The dough should be homogeneous
Add the remaining ingredients and continue to beat until all is well mixed
Divide the dough into three equal parts and place them in 500g panettone molds
Let it rest at room temperature until it has doubled in size
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately one hour
Cream of Orange: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened
Spread over the baked panettone.
