In a large bowl, mix together the cornmeal, flour, and salt
Add the butter in small pieces and mix well
Add the warm water (if necessary)
Mix until the dough is slightly moistened
Form into a ball
Place on a lightly floured surface
Knead for 5 minutes or until the dough no longer sticks to your hands
Divide into two equal balls
Let rest for 20 minutes at room temperature
Shape each ball into a roll about 2 cm thick
Cut each roll into pieces about 3 cm and form into balls
Open each ball into a circle about 13 cm in diameter
Fry for 1 minute in a hot skillet, without greasing
Flip and fry for an additional 1 minute.
