3 cups of all-purpose flour, sifted
3/4 cup of sugar
3 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
2 cups of peanuts, shelled and chopped
1/2 cup of pecans, chopped
1 egg
3/4 cup of milk
3 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine
3 cups of all-purpose flour, sifted
3/4 cup of sugar
3 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
2 cups of peanuts, shelled and chopped
1/2 cup of pecans, chopped
1 egg
3/4 cup of milk
3 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine
Sift together the flour, sugar, yeast, and cinnamon in a large bowl
Add the peanuts and pecans and mix well
In a small bowl, beat lightly the egg with the milk and melted butter or margarine
Pour this mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well, but carefully
Pour the batter into an ungreased 25cm x 12cm x 7cm loaf pan, spreading evenly with a spoon
Leave a slight depression in the center of the loaf to allow it to rise evenly
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until, when inserting a toothpick into the center of the loaf, it comes out clean
Unmold the loaf and let it cool.
