Mix the milk with the sweet starch, then add the remaining ingredients and knead until a dough forms (if still too dry, add a little more milk)
Shape into balls about 3 cm in diameter, then refine them to be longer on the ends
Fry in vegetable oil not too hot, covered with a lid, turning occasionally, until golden brown
The balls should be dry so they don't become soggy
Serve warm
Serves for approximately 10 days.
