1 1/2 cups of wheat flour
1 cup of whole wheat flour
3 1/2 tablespoons of oil
1 tablespoon of salt
1/2 cup of melted butter for brushing
1 1/2 cups of wheat flour
1 cup of whole wheat flour
3 1/2 tablespoons of oil
1 tablespoon of salt
1/2 cup of melted butter for brushing
Mix all the dough ingredients together
Gradually add about 3/4 cup of warm water, kneading constantly until the mixture is homogeneous and not sticky to the touch
Let the dough rest for at least 1 hour or overnight, wrapped in plastic film
Shape the dough into small balls using a spoon
Roll each ball into a circle about 15 cm in diameter
Heat a low-sided frying pan well
Place a piece of dough and cook over low heat on both sides until bubbles form
Use a spatula to lift the dough out of the pan, place it directly onto the flame of the gas stove, spinning constantly until it starts to puff up
Then, quickly drop the puffed bread onto the flame, turning once until it is fully puffed
Repeat this process with the rest of the dough and brush the cooked puffed breads with melted butter
