500 g of ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 minced garlic
50 g of bacon, cut into cubes
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1 sprig of rosemary
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped scallions
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon tomato extract
500 ml of tomato sauce
500 g of ground beef

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly
Using a knife, remove the stem end from each one, also known as the "eye", and chop them into large pieces
Heat the olive oil in a pan over low heat
Add the onion and cook until it is translucent
Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute
Add the tomatoes, tomato extract, rosemary, cinnamon, oregano, parsley, scallions, and salt
Stir with a spoon
Then add one cup of water and simmer for 20 minutes or until the tomatoes are tender
Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend on high speed for 30 seconds
Strain through a fine-mesh sieve
Discard the solids and return the sauce to low heat
Simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
