6 slices of breakfast bread
1 cup of white wine
2 beaten eggs
3/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine

Remove the crusts from the bread slices
Soak each slice in the wine, one at a time
Mix the beaten eggs with the cheese
Dip the bread slices into this mixture
Arrange in a well-greased baking dish
Cover with pieces of butter or margarine
Bake in a preheated oven (around 180°) for about 15 minutes, until golden brown, turning the bread slices once
Serve warm
