1/2 cup of butter or ghee
3/4 cup of granulated sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup of mashed banana
1/2 cup of orange juice
2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons of active dry yeast
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 cups of mixed candied fruits
1/4 cup of raisins
3/4 cup of chopped nuts (or pecans or cashews)

Cream the butter or ghee; add the sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
Mix the banana and orange juice, then alternate adding this mixture with the dry ingredients, panned nuts, and candied fruits
Pour into a rectangular pan, greased and lined with parchment paper of approximately 23 x 12 1/2 x 7 1/2 cm
Bake in a moderate oven for about 1 hour
Let cool for 20 minutes before removing from the pan
When cooled, cover with confectioner's sugar mixed with a little milk and decorate with candied fruits.
