1 small package of Syrian pepper
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup coarse salt, slightly crushed
1/4 cup thyme leaves

Open the Syrian pepper and cut it into four parts
Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with coarse salt and thyme leaves
Place the pepper pieces in a baking dish and bake at moderate heat (180°C) until crispy
Transfer to a plate and decorate with sprigs of thyme
Serve with dry bread.
