150g of sifted wheat flour
20g of fava beans
100g of seedless raisins
100g of chopped dried figs
50g of ground almonds
100g of butter or margarine
20g of active dry yeast
a pinch of salt
150g of sifted wheat flour
20g of fava beans
100g of seedless raisins
100g of chopped dried figs
50g of ground almonds
100g of butter or margarine
20g of active dry yeast
a pinch of salt
Activate the yeast by mixing it with a little warm water and 50g of flour, then let it rest for a few minutes
Shape into a ball and let it ferment in a warm place on top of a large napkin sprinkled with flour
Mix in the fava beans and an additional 100g of flour to the fermented dough
Knead everything together until smooth, then make a hole in the center and add the ground almonds, butter or margarine, and a little warm water to obtain a soft dough
Work the dough well, finally incorporating the seedless raisins and chopped dried figs
Divide the dough into 12 pieces, shaping each one into mini cakes by making an incision on top of each one
Place them on a lightly greased baking sheet with butter or margarine
Let them ferment in a warm place until they double in volume
Bake them in a moderate oven for about 45 to 50 minutes.
