1 pie crust
1 egg, lightly beaten
Filling:
1 cup cooked prosciutto, finely chopped
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
salt and black pepper to taste
5 slices of prosciutto, each 15 cm long and 0.5 cm wide

Prepare the pie crust: Line a round baking dish with a diameter of 25 cm
Brush with the egg mixture and refrigerate for about 15 minutes
Preheat the oven to moderate temperature (170°C)
Arrange the chopped prosciutto at the bottom of the pie crust
Beat the eggs lightly with milk
Pour slowly over the prosciutto
Bake for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until it has risen and is golden brown
Arrange the slices of prosciutto on top of the quiche
Sprinkle with grated cheese (sprinkle between the slices of prosciutto)
Place in the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese
Serves 6 people.
