1 fresh yeast tablet for cake
1/4 cup warm water
1 egg
2 soup spoons of sugar
1 spoonful of salt
2 soup spoons of melted butter or margarine
1 spoonful of grated orange peel
3/4 cup orange juice
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 oranges, peeled and chopped into small pieces to taste
Glaze:
1 spoonful of grated orange peel
1 spoonful of melted butter or margarine at room temperature
1 cup confectioner's sugar
1 soup spoon of lime juice
1 1/2 soup spoons of orange juice (or more as needed)

Dissolve the yeast in warm water
Beat the egg in a bowl
Mix the dissolved yeast with the sugar, salt, melted butter or margarine, grated orange peel, and enough flour to obtain a smooth dough
Place the dough on a floured surface and knead well
Shape into a ball and place on a greased plate
Flip over to grease the other side
Place the plate in a pan with warm water and let rise for 1 hour
Let the dough rest for a few minutes before shaping into desired form
Open the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness
Cut into circles of about 8 cm diameter
Let rest for 10 minutes
Baste with melted butter
Place a small piece of orange in the center
Fold the dough in half and press edges lightly
Place in a greased baking dish, cover with a clean cloth, and let rise for about 40 minutes
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes
Glaze: Mix grated orange peel and melted butter or margarine in a bowl
Add confectioner's sugar alternately with the juices, beating well
Spread over warm cakes.
