1 packet of active dry yeast for bread

3-4 cups all-purpose flour

Dissolve the yeast in warm water
Mix together the butter or margarine, sugar, salt, and oregano
Add the hot milk
Let it cool down
Add the beaten egg and dissolved yeast
Add the flour
Knead on a floured surface until smooth and pliable
Place in a greased bowl
Cover and let rise in a protected area for about 1 hour and 15 minutes
On a floured surface, roll out to about 1/2 inch thickness
Cut into strips of about 12 cm by 1/2 cm
Make rolls with 3 strips each
Place on greased baking sheets
Baste with beaten egg
Let rise in a protected area for about 40 minutes
Bake in a hot oven for about 15 minutes.
