200g all-purpose flour
1 packet of active dry yeast
1 cup whole milk, lukewarm with 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup Port Wine
1 tablespoon dark rum
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon grated lime rind
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour (for kneading)
Dissolve the yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm milk tempered with 1/4 teaspoon salt
Add a little flour to obtain a soft dough
Leave it in a warm place, covered with a cloth, for 15 minutes
After that, add the remaining milk, 200g all-purpose flour, and knead well
Let it rest for another 30 minutes
Then, mix in the remaining ingredients, except for the 1 cup all-purpose flour
Knead on a floured surface, adding the 1 cup all-purpose flour as needed, until you have a smooth and uniform dough
Open the dough to a height of about 1 centimeter (0.4 inch)
Fold it in half and cut out the little finger-shaped rolls using a cup
Bake the rolls on an oiled baking sheet
Before putting them in the oven, brush with egg wash.
