Combine 1 cup of warm milk with the yeast and 2 soup spoons of sugar in a bowl
Let it rest, covered with a cloth, for 15 minutes
Beat the egg whites until fluffy
Add the yolks, salt, and remaining sugar
Beat well and combine with the yeast mixture
Gradually add the remaining milk, butter, and flour, beating continuously with a wooden spoon until a smooth and elastic dough forms
Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes
Shape into small balls (about 1/2 soup spoon) using the dough (with floured hands) and place in a greased baking dish, leaving some space between them
Let it rest for another hour to allow the morsels to rise
Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C for about 15 minutes, or until lightly golden brown at the bottom
