Cream Filling
3 cups of milk
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
1 egg
4 medium-sized cinnamon sticks
Dough
3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons of oil
1 egg
A pinch of salt
Frying Oil
Ginger and Cinnamon to taste (optional)

Cream Filling

Cream Filling
Mix everything in a blender, except for the cinnamon, and heat it up
Add the cinnamon and mix until you get a thick cream
Let it cool, remove the cinnamon, and reserve
Dough
In a bowl, beat the egg well and add the oil and salt
Add the water and mix well
Gradually add 3 cups of flour, mixing constantly
Knead the dough on a floured surface until you can roll it out to a thickness of 2mm
Cut into circles using the cookie cutter
Assembly
Place half a spoonful of the cream filling in the center of each circle of dough and fold the other half over, pressing the edges together
Heat the oil and fry the pastries one by one
When serving, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
