Combine the sugar, flour, water, butter or margarine, egg, lemon juice, lime peel, and chopped figs
Cook over low heat until thickened
Let it cool down
Roll out the dough thinly and cut into 10 cm diameter circles
Place 1 tablespoon of filling on one half of each circle, dampen the edges slightly, and fold to form a tart
Press the edges tightly together to seal and make a small slit in each for steam to escape
Place in a baking dish and bake at very hot temperature (220°C) for about 15 minutes.
