Dry the fried chicken
In a bowl, crumble the bread, add milk, and moisten
Place the bacon in a skillet
Fry over low heat until lightly browned
Add the onion and fry until caramelized
Mix in the bread crumbs, cheese, salt, and pepper; remove from heat
Beat the eggs in a blender until smooth
Gradually add the fried chicken and egg mixture; beat until well combined
Add the bacon mixture and blend until smooth
Pour into a baking dish
Bake at moderate temperature (170°C) for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
If using a smaller mold, reduce baking time
Let cool, refrigerate, then unmold
Serves 6-8.
