2 cans of chickpeas (reserve the liquid from 1 can)
1 cup of sesame paste, or tahini (found in supermarkets and markets)
juice of 1 lime
2-3 cloves of garlic
salt to taste

In a blender, combine cooked chickpeas and slowly add the reserved liquid, blending until smooth
Add sesame paste, lime juice, garlic, and salt to taste
Blend until you get a thick and creamy consistency
Transfer the mixture to a bowl, cover it well, and refrigerate
To serve, drizzle with oil, garnish with chopped parsley and olives, and serve with crusty bread or your preferred accompaniment
