sliced 250g of onions
2 cloves of garlic, mashed
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
500g of fresh chicken livers
3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 cup of softened butter or margarine
2 tablespoons of whiskey
to taste salt and black pepper
1/4 teaspoon of ground cumin

Fry the onions and garlic in half of the butter or margarine until softened
Clean the chicken livers, removing any white membranes and excess fat, and cut into 2cm pieces
Combine the fried onions with the remaining butter or margarine and cook over low heat until firm but still pink inside
Remove from heat, add the chopped eggs and softened butter or margarine
Add the whiskey and seasonings
Pass through a sieve or blender.
