3 1/4 cups of peanuts
1 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon of grated ginger
2 3/4 cups of roasted peanuts without skin
butter or margarine for greasing

In a medium saucepan, mix the peanuts, water and ginger
Bring to a boil and stir until the peanuts dissolve
Stop stirring and cook until a thread forms
Add the peanuts in one go and cook, stirring constantly, until they come unstuck from the bottom of the pan
Pour onto a greased surface, let cool and cut into pieces.
