Combine the sugar, Karo, and water in a saucepan, stirring over medium heat until it reaches a boil and let it simmer for 10 minutes
Remove the saucepan from the heat and add baking soda
Stir until bubbles appear
Add chopped peanuts, vanilla powder, and butter
Pour everything onto a greased tray and smooth out slightly
Let it cool and break into pieces
Store in a tightly sealed tin
