4 firm pears
1 tablespoon of lime juice
1 room-temperature egg white
3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of toasted almond slices
1 pinch of nutmeg
Optional dusting: 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
4 firm pears

Cut the pears in half lengthwise
Remove the seeds and brush the cut surface with lime juice
Place the pears, cut side down, in a 20cm diameter refrigerator-safe dish
Microwave on high for 3 minutes
Beat the egg white until stiff and fold in the flour, continuing to beat until firm peaks form
Add the toasted almonds and nutmeg
Fold gently
Flip the pears and place the whipped topping with almonds on top
Microwave on medium-high for 3 minutes
Increase heat to high and microwave for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the fruit is tender
Let cool and dust with a mixture of flour and cinnamon
Serve warm
