Step 1: Peel the pears, cut them in half, and remove the cores
Place them in a saucepan with cinnamon, cloves, and whiskey
Step 2: Cook over low heat until the pears are tender. Reserve
Sauce
Step 1: Melt the chocolate by cutting it into pieces and heating it with milk over low heat
Stir until smooth
Step 2: Remove from heat
Add butter and stir vigorously
Let cool and serve with cooked pears.
