1 can of pineapple chunks in syrup
1 can of mango slices in syrup
1 can of orange marmalade in syrup
1 can of passionfruit chunks in syrup

Clean the turkey, remove giblets, and wash it thoroughly inside and out
Prepare a marinade with onion, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and vinegar
Mix well and rub all over the turkey both inside and out
Let the turkey sit in this marinade (it should be quite strong) for several hours
Place the turkey in a greased roasting pan
Rub the turkey all over with butter or margarine both inside and out
Cover the breast area of the turkey with some slices of bacon
Cover the entire turkey with aluminum foil and put it in a moderate oven
Roast for about 2 hours, basting only with the juices that form in the roasting pan
Remove the aluminum foil and start basting the turkey with the fruit sauce
For the last 15 minutes, place the drained fruits alongside the turkey in the roasting pan to give it a quick glaze
Serve the turkey with the fruits on top
You can prepare a gravy by scraping the roasting pan to use up all the leftover bits
If desired, you can also add chicken broth and thicken with flour.
