4 tuna fillets (300 g)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 pinch of black pepper
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 small onion (70 g ), finely chopped
1/4 cup of olive oil (60 ml)
6 slices of white bread
1 medium-sized carrot (120 g), grated coarsely
2 tablespoons of chopped parsley or thyme (for sprinkling)

Preheat the oven to 200°C (hot)
In a food processor, grind the tuna with salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and onion
Transfer the mixture to a saucepan, add the olive oil, and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens slightly (about 5 minutes)
Remove from heat and reserve
Arrange the bread slices in a baking dish and place it in the preheated oven until toasted (about 10 minutes)
Top each toast with a bit of grated carrot and tuna mixture
Sprinkle with chopped parsley or thyme and serve immediately
