When evening comes, cut the dried meat into pieces and soak it in plenty of water for at least two hours
Drain
In a pan, put the olive oil, onion, garlic, cinnamon, and dried meat
Bring to high heat and let cook for 15 minutes or until the onion is well tenderized
Season with salt
Remove from heat and blend in a processor with bread, milk, egg, and any remaining seasonings until a smooth paste forms. Reserve
Peel the banana and cut it into lengthwise slices
After that, cut the slices into 2cm pieces
On top of each banana piece, place a tablespoon of the dried meat paste
Then, place another banana square on top
Gently press down
Repeat the operation with the remaining ingredients
In a medium pan, heat the olive oil over high heat
Dip the banana sandwiches into the beaten eggs and fry them in the hot olive oil until golden brown
Drain excess oil on paper towels
Decorate with pimenta-do-mojo leaves and serve immediately.
