3 tablespoons of tomato extract
salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the beef according to instructions
Drain and cut into thin strips
Melt butter or margarine in a skillet and sauté the onion until golden brown
Add the beef and cook well, stirring occasionally
Remove from the skillet and set aside
Add flour to the skillet, stir well and cook for 3 minutes, scraping the bottom and sides
Add the broth and tomato extract and cook until thickened
Add seasonings and beef, stir well
Serve hot with rice
