1 whole picanha cut, approximately 2.2 lbs
2 lbs of coarse salt
1 whole picanha cut, approximately 2.2 lbs
2 lbs of coarse salt
Line a pan with a generous layer of coarse salt
Place the picanha with the fatty side down, on top of the salt
Cover the entire piece of beef with more salt
Bake in a medium oven for two hours
Remove the picanha, gently pound or scrape off the excess salt and cut into slices
Serve with rice, farofa, and tomato salad.
