Cut the chicken into pieces
Melt the butter or margarine in a baking dish
Add the seasonings
Mix well
Coat the chicken pieces with the mixture, making sure they're fully covered
Arrange the chicken pieces in the same baking dish, leaving them in a single layer
Bake for about 1 hour, basting frequently with the baking dish's sauce
Serve in quarters.
